Salt Ayre Circuit
The rain started in Lancaster about 7pm on Wednesday evening but by the time the first riders in the Lancaster CC circuit TT at Salt Ayre started it had blown over on the way to making life uncomfortable for the later starters in the Kent Valley ‘10’ at Milnthorpe. The breeze that blew away the rain made for hard work at Salt Ayre, more so on the back strait, but all made good progress with Nev Pearson again the fastest albeit slower than the previous week. One new face at the track was 15year old Joshua Gibson who recorded a very creditable 32:29 for his first ever time trial.
