‘Le Terrier’. The planning has come to fruition and the event has ‘gone live’ with entries on line being handled by SportIdent. There will be two challenging route lengths - 45 & 80 miles on quiet roads in the Forest of Bowland. The 45 mile route is a challenging ride taking in Jubilee Towers with over 1,500m of ascent and a choice of route to the finish (you have the option, on the day, to finish through Wray). The 80 mile route, with over 2,600m of ascent, is bound to be a classic finishing through Wray, Roeburndale, Scout Camp and Stocka Bank - it has no junk miles! The date of this year’s event will be June 29 with riders departing from Dalton Square from 7.00 - 8.30am. On your return there is bicycle storage, a host of exhibitors in Dalton Square, great food and drinks, live music. Proceeds and extra donations this year will go to Lancaster’s Homeless. Details and links to enter on line are now on the  website or contact Graham Orr on 01524 735250. Full route map available from the links above.

To whet your appetite for Le Terrier here is a Photo Trip around the Long Route and around the Shorter Route
